Familiar with Habitat for as long as she can remember, Kate first experienced Global Village as a volunteer in 2005 in Georgetown, South Carolina.  Building as part of a team -- for/with a partner family -- just seemed like the right thing to do, and the perfect way to use her free time.   Since then, Kate has completed twelve builds around the world.  She is currently recruiting for build #14 in Argentina.
