Itinerary

Friday:  Travel.  Grab your packed bags and depart for  Argentina!

Saturday:  Arrive.  Join us in Buenos Aires!  You'll be greeted by Habitat staff when you arrive and will join the rest of your team before departing the airport.  

Sunday:  Explore.  Sightsee around Buenos Aires and sample the local cuisine.

Monday - Friday: Learn and build.  Discover the innovative work Habitat Argentina is doing in the region.  Learn about the team's service project.   The team will clear sites, mix cement and assist the local masons to build a new seed home.  The team will have time for excursions, rest and reflection meetings in the evenings.     

Saturday: Community Service.  Meet the local partners who are addressing the needs of the community and team up for our service project.  Then we will relax and barbecue with our partner family and Habitat Argentina staff.

Sunday:   Goodbyes.  Continue your journey in Argentina independently or head home.

While this does not commit you to anything, it begins the process.  Please use trip number GV19390 to indicate an interest in this build.  Your application will be processed by Habitat and forwarded to me.

Trip Cost

$2,351 ..... plus airfare to/from your home airport

The published trip cost covers your meals, accommodations, local transportation, select cultural events -- and includes significant donations to HFH International ($250) and the Habitat affiliate in Lusaka ($650) with whom we're building.   This ensures that HFH will be able to continue building after our departure.

Your trip cost does not include any optional R&R activities.

A $350 deposit will hold your place on the team. The trip balance will be due on January 20, 2019.  

Habitat has developed easiy customizable fundraising pages that you can share with friends, associates and family.  HFH fundraising can substantially reduce your out-of-pocket expenses for the trip.  For more info, please contact Kate.
